The Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) is an Australian Government statutory agency created by the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012. WGEA aims to promote and improve gender equality in Australian workplaces.

The Law Society works with WGEA to ensure compliance with the reporting requirements under the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012. The reporting framework aims to encourage measures that improve gender equality and with a vision that women and men be equally represented, valued and rewarded in the workplace.
