ABOUT PRIVATE PRACTITIONERS
Private practitioners make up the bulk of the legal profession, constituting around 70 per cent of practising solicitors in NSW. Private practitioners are employed in large, mid-size and small law firms, or are self-employed. They are spread throughout the city and suburbs, country areas, interstate or overseas.
The Law Society aims to be the proud voice of the private profession, representing the interests of the profession, and providing the tools to ensure solicitors can achieve excellence now and in the future.
