The Law Society of NSW is pleased to present its inaugural Ready for Practice Skills Series.

The series will explore key legal skills and topics essential for graduates and early career lawyers to ensure you can thrive and approach your first years of practice with clarity and confidence.

Topics include:

  • Legal drafting and writing
  • AI and legal research skills
  • Ethics and professional conduct
  • Wellbeing and mental health
  • Personal branding

In session three, we will explore key ethical and professional conduct rules and requirements for graduates and early career solicitors. Participants will explore their core duties to the court, clients and the administration of justice by reviewing realistic scenarios and challenges.

Using practical examples, attendees will gain a greater understanding of their professional requirements, learn how to mitigate risks, and understand how to navigate issues commonly faced in the early years of practice.
