PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
Thousands of years of knowledge, an opportunity for us all to learn

​​​​​​For this week’s edition of my President’s Message, I’ve replaced my photograph with an image of hope. This representation of the Aboriginal flag, for me, represents the opportunity all Australians have, to receive tens of thousands of years of learning about this land from our Indigenous communities. That learning can start very young, as it has done with my three-year-old niece, who painted this picture to mark Reconciliation Week. ​​​​Continue reading >

Practising certificate renewal reminder to practitioners
To engage in legal practice after 30 June 2022, you must hold a practising certificate. If you have not yet lodged your renewal application, please do so here. The Legal Profession Uniform Law does not permit the Law Society to accept practising certificate renewal applications submitted after 30 June 2022. Read more. 
Swearing in ceremonies this week
There will be Full Bench ceremonies this week to mark the swearing-in of three Magistrates of the Local Court of New South Wales in courtroom 5.2 of the Downing Centre. Details for each ceremony are:

Return of the popular ADR debate and networking reception
