The Law Society of NSW is pleased to announce the return of our annual Rural Issues Conference on Friday 23 October 2026 at the Amora Hotel Jamison Sydney.

The importance of the work carried out by rural, regional and remote (RRR) solicitors in New South Wales cannot be overstated and is integral to the good administration of justice in this State. Solicitors working in regional areas face specific needs and challenges, including land transactions, succession law, court protocols, and managing client relationships. This conference brings together expert voices to address these needs while creating a collegiate and inspiring day of legal education.

As part of this year’s conference, we're also excited to welcome final-year law students, Practical Legal Training (PLT) students and recent law graduates to the conference lunch through a new networking initiative. This will provide conference attendees with a valuable opportunity to connect with the next generation of practitioners, share insights into the benefits of regional practice, and help support recruitment and retention across RRR New South Wales.
