Navigating mental health in the COVID era

Professor Ian Hickie AM

Co-Director, Health and Policy at The University of Sydney’s Brain and Mind Centre
NHMRC Senior Principal Research Fellow

Professor Ian Hickie AM joined us on 11 October 2021 for a special evening that paid tribute to the life and work of Charles Richard Xuereb.

An internationally renowned researcher in clinical psychiatry, Professor Hickie gave a keynote presentation on navigating mental health in the covid era. As extended lockdowns increase our loneliness and disconnection, we must look at what we can do, not only for our individual wellbeing, but for the collective health of our social connections.
