Changes to ILARS Funding Guidelines and Application Processing for Workers Compensation Claim Funding
The Independent Review Office (IRO) released an alert on 24 June 2026 confirming that applications for funding or extensions of grant funding received from that day might not be able to be determined in accordance with the existing guidelines and may only be determined after the commencement of the new ‘merits’ criteria taking effect from 1 July 2026.
