Sub-Committees
The success of NSW Young Lawyers relies on the passion, initiative and commitment of our Sub-Committees. Most Young Lawyers’ projects are initiated, developed and brought to fruition by our Sub-Committees.
NSW Young Lawyers is currently inviting those interested to complete an Expression of Interest (EOI) to join one of its Sub-Committees. NSW Young Lawyers is driven by the passion, expertise, and commitment of its Sub-Committee members, who develop and deliver initiatives that support young lawyers across New South Wales.
Joining a Sub-Committee is an opportunity to expand your professional knowledge, build valuable connections, contribute to the legal profession and broader community, and help shape the future direction of NSW Young Lawyers. Whether you are looking to develop new skills, broaden your network, or make a meaningful impact, serving on a Sub-Committee can be a rewarding step in your professional journey. See our FAQs for more information regarding the EOI process for the 2027 Sub-Committees. Find our EOI form here.
Projects range from submissions to government to practitioner guides, public forums and other pro bono activities.
There are 12 Sub-Committees in total, each dedicated to a particular area of the law. Find out more information about the activities and current projects of a Sub-Committee below.
