About Bruce
Bruce is Special Counsel for Torts Services at the Crown Solicitor’s Office.
Bruce has been with the Crown Solicitor's Office for over 27 years, and during this time has represented the government and public interest in countless notable decisions.
Bruce was awarded the 2017 Michelle Crowther PSM Excellence in Government Legal Service Award for the talent and integrity he demonstrates in his work each day.
Bruce's career
Over his career to date, Bruce has demonstrated excellence as a government solicitor. Bruce has successfully defended an ICAC officer against the tort of public misfeasance alleged against the Obeid family in 2016. Bruce has also represented the government in landmark matters such as claims arising from the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse and the Hardie Holdings litigation

Managing a team of 11 lawyers and 6 support staff, Juliana works tirelessly to ensure that the Mid-North Coasts' disadvantaged are provided with excellent legal services.
Juliana provides a strong example to the local profession by facilitating continuing professional development and by organising social events. These efforts unite the profession and promote friendly relationships between practitioners on the Mid-North Coast
