Continuing Legal Education

Committee

What we do

The Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Committee plays a vital role in the continued vibrancy and relevance of NSW Young Lawyers, contributing to The Law Society's CPD Program and NSW Young Lawyers events throughout the year.

Our Committee is made up of lawyers from a variety of backgrounds and practice areas, each bringing their own experience and knowledge to the table.

All NSW Young Lawyers’ Committees are actively involved in contributing to the CPD Program, ensuring that we can react and respond quickly to changes in the law and providing up to date education to the profession.

Our goal is to assist with developing CPD Programs, networking and event opportunities for young lawyers, in particular seminars specifically focused on helping those new to practice to learn about the practical aspects, as well as introduce them to the fundamentals of key practice areas. One of the keys to our success is our commitment to selecting presenters who are the forefront of their respective areas of practice. We also engage with our members in providing innovative events that meet their changing needs.
