This award recognises those driving meaningful change through initiatives that strengthen wellbeing and practitioner sustainability in the legal profession.
Assessment criteria
How has the nominee demonstrated a commitment to promoting physical and mental health wellbeing within the legal profession through their initiatives or practices. (50 per cent)
Provide specific examples of innovative wellbeing programs, policies, or activities that the nominee has championed, explaining how these initiatives have positively impacted the overall wellbeing of individuals within the legal community. (25 per cent)
How has the nominee gone above and beyond in raising awareness of mental health issues or promoting healthy and sustainable ways of living and working within their workplace and/or the broader legal profession. (25 per cent)
Eligibility
Nominations for this award are open to individuals and teams who:
Are members of The Law Society of NSW, or an organisation or team with a membership rate of 80 per cent or above.
Category open to self-nomination (supported by one or two referees).
