It celebrates excellence in legal practice, integrity, mentorship and the contribution practitioners make by supporting, guiding and developing other members of the profession. The Award reflects the Law Society’s commitment to fostering a competent, ethical and trusted legal profession.
Assessment Criteria
How has the nominee demonstrated exceptional professional and ethical leadership through their legal practice, conduct and professional judgement? (50 per cent)
How has the nominee actively mentored, supervised, sponsored, educated or otherwise supported the professional development and capability of others? Please provide specific examples. (25 per cent)
How has the nominee’s leadership positively impacted individuals, workplace culture, professional standards or the broader legal profession? Please provide evidence of the outcomes achieved. (25 per cent)
