The Early Career Lawyer of the Year Award recognises the service of an early career solicitor to the legal profession and community.

 

Assessment Criteria

  • What outstanding contribution has the nominee made to the legal profession or the community. (50 per cent)
  • How does the nominee demonstrate exceptional legal skills, professionalism, and ethical conduct in their practice as an early career solicitor. (25 per cent)
  • Specific examples of cases, projects, or initiatives the nominee has undertaken that showcases their dedication to advancing justice, advocacy, or community service. (25 per cent)

Eligibility

Nominations for this award are open to individuals who:

  • hold a current NSW practising certificate; and
  • are in their first five years of practice
