President of the Law Society of NSW, John Dobson, has congratulated prominent Southern Sydney lawyer and media personality, Sam Macedone, recipient of the 2013 President's Medal.
The annual Law Society of NSW President's Medal recognises the significant personal and professional contributions made by a solicitor member to the betterment of law and justice in the community.
Mr Dobson presented the medal to Mr Macedone at the Law Society's Annual Members Dinner, at Doltone House Hyde Park last night.
"Sam is a highly respected solicitor whose contribution to the profession has been unwavering," Mr Dobson said.
"Over the years he has mentored and provided expert advice to many young lawyers, and he is regarded to be of the highest standing by those who know him and those in the legal profession.
"Sam is a former President and life member of the St George and Sutherland Regional Law Society and an active member of the Law Society's Specialist Accreditation Advisory Committee," he said.
