Regional Law Societies
A network of 29 regional law societies ensures that the work of the Law Society is directly relevant and accessible to practitioners, no matter where they are located in the state.
While each Regional Law Society has it own constitution and takes initiatives on local issues, the Law Society plays a coordinating role, providing grants and other support.
Representatives of each regional society meet in Sydney five times each year to discuss issues of importance to the legal profession, local members and the community.

Professional opportunities in rural, regional and remote NSW
As part of our commitment to strengthening professional support practitioners working in rural, regional and remote areas of NSW, the Law Society maintains a list of vacancies and opportunities in those areas.
To help promote awareness of Accredited Specialists to members of the public in your region, the Law Society has created an easy-to-understand flyer, entitled Find the right solicitor for your needs.
The flyer explains in every-day language how to identify and search for Accredited Specialists in a particular area.
Regional Presidents are encouraged to email the Regional Coordinator for more information about how to utilise this marketing resource.
