Animal Law Committee

The Animal Law Committee focuses on the laws that govern the legal status and treatment of animals in Australia. By using our collective knowledge and skills, we strive to improve these laws and ensure their proper enforcement so that all creatures, great and small, can live a life free from pain and suffering.

The Committee is made up of a diverse group of individuals. Some of us are practitioners in large commercial firms and others sole practitioners. Some of us are government lawyers, while others are law students.

Despite our differences we share a common passion – to strive for the protection of animals.
