Senior Solicitors’ Scheme
The Senior Solicitors’ Scheme provides confidential assistance to solicitors who are the subject of a complaint with the Office of the Legal Services Commissioner. It aims to resolve problems before they reach a more serious stage.
The Scheme consists of a panel of experienced solicitors who have in-depth knowledge of the procedures relating to conduct and disciplinary matters. All are available to offer:
- assistance in the preparation of a written response
- confidential support during the complaint process
- guidance on potential professional conduct problems
- a free initial consultation (payment is required for subsequent interviews and out-of-pocket expenses).
Some panel members are also able to act on your behalf. All panel members of the Scheme have been in practice for at least 10 years.
