The day-to-a-page and week-at-a-glance diaries are wiro-bound books, featuring our popular directory where you’ll find information on law practices, barristers, courts and tribunals, as well other useful information to help you in your daily practice. Frequently asked questions

Delivery

I pre-ordered my diary, when will it be posted to me?

The diary is now in stock, and pre-orders that have been paid for in full are currently being prepared for posting. Please allow two (2) weeks for your order to arrive. All orders are being sent by standard Australia Post without a tracking number. New orders are being accepted through the Law Society's eShop.

Can I have my diary delivered via DX?

No. Diaries can only be delivered by standard Australia Post to physical addresses and PO/GPO Boxes.

Can I pick up my order and not pay postage?

No. Diaries ordered online or by order form can only be sent by post. If you would prefer not to pay postage, you can purchase over the counter at the Law Society Shop. Please see the 'Purchasing in person' section below for details. 

Online ordering

How do I order my diary?

The most efficient way to order is online through the Law Society's eShop using credit card.

If you do not have access to a credit card, you also can pay by cheque or Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) through the eShop. Please note, your order will not be processed until your cheque or EFT payment is received by the Law Society.

Do I get a reference number with my online order?

Yes. All completed online orders generate a tax invoice. This is sent to you by email. Please retain the tax invoice for future reference. If you make an enquiry about your order, we will ask you for the tax invoice number.

You will receive a seperate receipt once your payment is processed. For credit card orders, this is emailed immediately. For other payment types, your receipt will be sent once your cheque or EFT is received by the Law Society. 

Can I change my order online?

No. Changes cannot be made online to completed orders. If you require additional diaries, please complete another order. Please note, we cannot guarantee that separate orders will be delivered together. If you have other changes, please contact the diary team by email at lawdiary@lawsociety.com.au, quoting your tax invoice number.

I am a Law Society member, can I order multiple diaries online on behalf of other members?

Yes, one member can order on behalf of their colleagues and they will all be charged at the Member price. Postage is capped at $50 for bulk orders.

Purchasing in person

Can I purchase over the counter?

Yes. The Law Society day-to-a-page, week-at-a-glance and pocket diaries are now in stock for purchase from the Law Society Shop on Level 1 of the Law Society building located at 170 Phillip Street, Sydney. Please bring your membership card or a valid photo id with you for membership verification.

What methods of payment are accepted at the Shop?

The Shop accepts Visa, Mastercard and AMEX credit cards, cash and cheques.

When is the Law Society Shop open?

The Shop is open 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday with entry to Level 1 restricted from 4:50pm. The Shop is not open on public holidays.

I am a Law Society member, can I purchase multiple diaries on behalf of other members at the Shop?

Yes, one member can purchase on behalf of their colleagues and they will all be charged at the Member price. Please bring your membership card or a valid photo id with you for membership verification.

General ordering

Can I order by phone?

No. Orders can only be placed online or through the order form.
