Understanding and

managing perfectionism

Kristiina Bedford
Registered Psychologist, Organisational Consultant

A high achiever mentality and tendency towards perfectionism are common personality traits for those who work in the law.

As numerous studies have revealed, the unrelenting pursuit of perfectionism in an environment of demanding workloads and high client expectations can also become self-defeating and contribute to impairments in performance and impact on wellbeing.

Procrastination is also a common problem associated with perfectionism. In this webcast, Kristiina Bedford discusses perfectionism and procrastination, and offers helpful tips for managing both to minimise the impacts on mental wellbeing and maximise the value of your time in and out of the workplace.
