Home Alone? How to ‘own’ your in-house role and stay ethically sound

Tuesday 10 March · 7.30am - 9.00am · 1 CPD unit

When you're the sole in-house lawyer for an organisation the burden of expectation can weigh heavily. Yet the role can also be intoxicatingly liberating.

While we're often expected to just "make the call", there are times when we feel we should be making the call for help instead. Join us as we explore the factors that drive our decisions as in-house practitioners, and consider some of the options that are available to us when our role assumes extraordinary dimensions.

We'll discuss some common ethical issues faced by sole in-house lawyers and explore a framework for identifying and responding to those issues in a way that further demonstrates the value of the role you play.
