2020 Annual General Meeting
The 2020 Annual General Meeting of the Law Society of New South Wales (Law Society) will be held at 4:30pm on Thursday 22 October 2020.
Due to current COVID-19 social distancing requirements and having regard to the health and safety of our members, the Annual General Meeting will be held as a virtual meeting and members will not be able to physically attend the meeting at the Law Society building.
Pre-registration for the meeting
Members who intend to attend the virtual Annual General Meeting will need to pre-register. Please click the pre-registration button below to register using your LawID. Pre-registration will close at 4:30pm on Tuesday 20 October 2020.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 02 9926 0161 if you are having difficulty pre-registering online, have not yet activated your LAWID, have special requirements to participate in the meeting or if pre-registration has closed and you still wish to attend the meeting.
Please note that the connection details for participation in the virtual meeting will only be provided to members who complete the pre-registration process.

Submitting questions in advance of and during the meeting
Members may submit questions to the Law Society in advance of the meeting. Questions should relate to the business of the meeting and can be submitted by emailing the company secretary at email@example.com by 4:30pm on Tuesday 20 October 2020.
Members will also have the opportunity to submit questions during the meeting in relation to the formal items of business. In order to ask a question online during the meeting, please follow the instructions provided in the introductory information video or as outlined by the Chair during the meeting. Questions may be moderated or amalgamated if there are multiple questions on the same topic.
