Back by popular demand, the Just Art charity visual arts competition is on again in 2019. Let your inner artist out by creating an artwork on the theme of 'justice'. Artwork can be in any form – think painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking or photography. All those who are affiliated with the legal profession are welcome to enter, including judicial members, lawyers and law students.
Review the competition terms and conditions before submitting your entry. Entries close on 30 June.
Entries will be judged in July and finalists will be showcased at a dedicated exhibition in August where artworks will be available for purchase.
Just Art, now in it's third year, uniquely fuses the world of law and expression, celebrating the creativity of the legal profession and tapping into their motivation to subvert injustice, champion truth and remedy wrongs.
Matisse and Kandinsky were lawyers. But lawyers today do not often get a chance to work outside the boundaries of black-letter law. Just Art was born from a desire to give lawyers a chance to express their creative side and display their artistic passion to the community. The Law Society welcomes all legal professionals to get involved and create for a cause!
