April 2009
nsw Young Lawyers - A Fresh Perspective debrief
A Welcome From The President

Dear Young Lawyer

Each year, we hold two assemblies, the first on 30-31 May and the second on 14-15 November. These assemblies provide a great opportunity for our members to come together in an environment where they can develop their skills and discuss ways to improve the organisation. We are now calling for Presidential Nominees (up to 15 people) chosen to attend the assemblies and contribute.

I encourage you all to apply.

This month, we continue to engage with our student members via the Law Careers Fair on 3 April and our road-show to Newcastle University. It was a very rewarding experience to engage with the emerging members of our profession and I look forward to implementing many of their wonderful ideas.

There is no better time to become involved in Young Lawyers and I encourage you to do so.

Louise Jardim
