June 2009
nsw Young Lawyers - A Fresh Perspective debrief
A Welcome From The President

Dear Young Lawyer

We apologise for the technical difficulties with the last email from us.  Our server is currently being updated.  We hope you can now enjoy this edition of Debrief!

On the last weekend of May, over 70 young lawyers gathered in Terrigal for yet another successful mid-year assembly. The assembly provides a unique opportunity for members to learn more about what is happening in our organisation, share ideas, learn new skills and get to know each other better. This year delegates were also provided the opportunity of hearing from Toastmasters and the Centre for Volunteering.

The Annual Assembly will be held on 14-15 November 2009.

This month, we launch our mentoring program for 2009 with a dinner on Tuesday 23 June. If you would like any information on this program please contact me asap.

Half way through my year as President of this organisation, I am proud of the large number of great projects launched so far and pleased with the progress of my four point plan. I am excited about what is in store for the next six months and thank each of our 14 committees for their hard work, enthusiasm and inspirational ideas. I encourage you to become actively involved.
