President of The Law Society of NSW Doug Humphreys OAM:
I am shocked and dismayed at the events of yesterday. Our condolences go to Mr Ledinh’s family.
In accordance with our statutory obligations under the Legal Profession Uniform Law, The Law Society of NSW will move quickly to appoint a manager to Ho Ledinh’s firm, Ledinh Lawyers, to ensure his clients continue to have access to legal representation and that any monies in trust are protected.
According to The Law Society of NSW's records, Mr Ledinh was a sole practitioner. He was admitted to practice in NSW in August 1999.
He practiced in the Bankstown district from an office at Old Town Centre Plaza’s in Bankstown.
He spoke both Chinese and Vietnamese.
