Work2Suit

An initiative of the Law Society of NSW and Women Lawyers Association of NSW, Work2Suit is an information and support network for solicitors who are working, or seeking to work, flexibly. Flexible work options may include part-time or job-share arrangements, and working from home.

Established in 2007, the initiative supports the Society's report The Case for Flexibility: A Guide to Implementing a Flexible Workplace. This report found that legal practices that are proactive in their approach to flexibility increase their chances of attracting and retaining talent, enhancing productivity and morale, and reducing stress and burnout.

A key element of the Work2Suit initiative is regular forums where members can enjoy:

  • extensive information sharing and networking
  • presentations from a range of speakers on flexible working arrangements
  • communication about issues around flexible work practices
  • opportunities to influence policy and decision-makers.

Check the Law Society's Events Calendar for upcoming Work2Suit forums.
