Our speakers for this seminar are Andrew Duggan, Director, JBA Planning and Sam Crawford, Director, Sam Crawford Architects.

As an experienced planner and architect, they will show you how to read survey plans, architectural plans and shadow diagrams.

This session will be practical and interactive and real plans and diagrams will be used.

Andrew is an experienced planner with over 12 years' experience in the NSW property and development sector as both as a town planner and environmental planning lawyer.

He began his planning career in local government in 1997 and worked at Gosford City Council for several years before joining JBA Urban Planning Consultants in 2009 again.

He was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW in 2005 and is able to advise clients on all aspects of planning and land use matters, including the preparation of various planning applications, planning feasibility studies and due diligence investigations, section 94 plans and planning agreements.

Sam established his own architectural practice in 1999 and has been a member of the Australian Institute of Architects since 1996.

His work has been widely published, nationally and internationally and he has been the recipient of several awards including, for example, the Royal Australian Institute of Architects Awards in 2003 and 2006.

Sam also participates as a guest design critique at NSW universities.
