Aims

In this CLE Seminar, Craig Leggat SC will speak about recent cases in the NSW Supreme Court of NSW and Court of Appeal concerning the Strata Schemes Management Act 1996, by-laws, building management agreements and changes to common property.

He will also focus on the use and impact of expert evidence in strata litigation matters and the effect of the recent High Court in Dasreef concerning the proper approach to expert evidence under the Evidence Act 1995 (NSW).

Craig James Leggat SC is an accredited mediator and he has appeared in a variety of courts, tribunals and commissions in Australia for the past 30 years.

He has advised banks, governments, government ministers, councils, developers, debtors and legal practitioners.
