2009 program

Notification of results

The 2009 assessments have now been finalised and candidates will be receive notification of results in the post after the 6 October 2009.

Candidates who have not passed are reminded of the following:

• An application for Reassessment can only be submitted if there has been a failure in just one assessment component. 
• An application for Appeal can only be submitted on the basis of alleged procedural error as experienced by an individual candidate during the assessment process.

Appeals will consider whether procedures were applied differently and adversely in the case of the candidate. The test for procedural error is where one or more of the following applies:

• The candidate was not given the opportunity to seek special consideration for problems affecting candidacy;
• The candidate was given wrong, incomplete or conflicting information in writing;
• The candidate demonstrates that there was bias in the assessment process that disadvantaged them; and
• The established procedure for assessments was not followed.

Instruction on use:

• You are able to save information typed into the form if you are using Adobe® Acrobat Reader 8 or 9*. 
• You are able to reopen and modify answers as often as desired. Use File/Save As and give each iteration of the form a unique name.

Please follow the instructions on the form to submit a completed application to Specialist Accreditation department electronically or by post.

Keep an electronic and/or a hardcopy of the completed application as your reference.
