Advanced standing for Accredited Specialists
One of the benefits of becoming an Accredited Specialist is the opportunity to receive advanced standing into coursework programs at several universities in New South Wales.

Macquarie University | Up to 8 credits advanced standing | Available for Specialists who gain accreditation from 2010 onwards. |
University of Sydney | 6 points advanced standing | Available for Specialists who gained accreditation from 2001 onwards. |
University of New South Wales | 6 points advanced standing | Available for Specialists who gained accreditation from 2001 onwards. |
University of Technology, Sydney | 8 point advanced standing | Available for Specialists who gained accreditation from 2001 onwards. |
University of New England | 6 points of unspecified elective credits toward a coursework LLM | The total amount of advanced standing that can be obtained by Accredited Specialists is 6 points, irrespective of the number of accreditations held. |
College of Law | Two core subjects | From 2009, Specialists applying for the Master of Applied Law in Family Law or Commercial Litigation can apply for advanced standing. |
