2012 program - Specialist Accreditation Scheme

The Specialist Accreditation department would like to welcome all candidates for 2012.

All candidates should refer to the 2012 Guide to Application and Assessment which contains details relating to policy and procedures for this assessment year.

Assessment Requirements

The Assessment Requirements for each area of practice sets out the core skills and knowledge areas expected of candidates, as well as detailing the assessment components.

Assessment Sample Kits for Immigration Law (sold out), Local Government and Planning Law and Personal Injury are now available for purchase.  These kits contains samples of assessments submitted in previous years, as a showcase of the standard of work.

Note: Graduates of the Diploma of Advanced Tax, who apply to undertake accreditation in Business and Personal Taxation Law in 2012:

  • will automatically satisfy the written examination component of the Specialist Accreditation Program; and
  • may also satisfy one or more of the questions in the mock file (at the discretion of the Business and Personal Taxation Law advisory committee).
